1 Way Up is bringing the sport of BMX to youth across the UK starting this August! The film shines a spotlight on the sport of BMX and highlights exceptional young people who are flourishing with the goal of encouraging youth to participate in BMX or similar positive activity.
We encourage teams, organizations, grassroots groups, congregations, and individuals across the UK to organize screenings, house parties, and actions around 1 Way Up. We deeply believe that through the power of story, social issue films can inspire people to commit to actions that will lead to real change for their communities.
HOW LICENSING WORKS
All screening hosts are legally obligated to purchase the exhibition license to show the film. You can either rent the film for a one time screening or purchase the film for multiple screenings hosted by your organization. Pricing varies based on rental vs purchase and the type of organization hosting the screening.
We have different prices for non-profits, businesses, and universities.
1. Get a 1 Way Up DVD: We’ve made it easy for you to host a screening. If you’re ready to book your event right now, just visit the store, and rent or purchase your screening DVD and license. Still have questions? Fill out this form and a member of our team will get back to you ASAP.
2. Find a suitable venue and set a date: 1 Way Up can play anywhere there is a DVD player and a screen.
3. Let people know it’s happening. Make sure to send us your date too so we can put it on the website!
